for anyone who cares to look....here's my pictures from warped tour last friday. they're mostly of paramore because well, that's who I drove 4 hours to go and see. there's a couple of senses fail's acoustic set but i was too lazy to get off my ass and get closer so they're reallllly far away.

I'm bored so I just went back and looked at some old journal entries and.....why am I such an idiot? why do I have any friends at all?! haha, I think I was raised by a pack of wolves. either that or a group of nudist, perverted sugar mommas who run a whorehouse out of the local bakery.
^^there I go again!!! I need to learn some manners.
anyway, Alice Cooper once told me that school's out for summer (but it's not out forever). I'm home and the fun shall begin soon, only to be interrupted by some uneccesary drama that we'll all get over and be great friends again. happens every time.
I won't be able to come out and play alot this week since my mom decided she was gonna go to hawaii for 10 days and leave me with the kids. So I'm a single mom till mother's day (how ironic). then it's all about friends and bonfires and concerts for the rest of the summer.

Spring break is:
5 days
9 classes
1 exam
1 group project
and 3 work shifts away.

1:44 am - mel's frustration with life

I'm almost 20 years old and I have done nothing with my life. Sure, I'm in college but I find myself skipping like 3 classes per week because "I have better shit to do". What is that better shit you might ask? Oh yeah, that would be sleeping or sitting on my ass watching TV or playing free cell. I know everyone has to go through this "What am I doing with my life" phase at some point in their lives but I was hoping mine wouldn't hit me until at least my senior year. I just want to get out there and do something. Fuck money, fuck school, fuck everything. I'm not afraid to be out there with no more than $5 in my pocket and not exactly sure how I'm going to eat dinner that week, as long as I'm out there. You'd think that once you go away to college you'd feel more free and independent. Mmmmm nope. My job is shitty (I'm lucky I even have one), I'm constantly being reminded of student loans and how important my degree is. As much as I love my major, I just can't see myself doing the 9 to 5 deal, stuck behind a desk and worried about getting fired anytime soon. I want to do something for ME before I'm stuck with that shit.
In conclusion...if anyone wants to be my partner in crime, let's fuck up our lives a little bit before we have to go out into the "real world". I'm thinking...roadies on the warped tour this summer. how fuckin' fun would that be?

sooo, I'm in Indiana with the whole fam damily. I'm gonna come back with a southern accent and you'll all be thrilled.
my uncle is getting married tomorrow and I can't believe it. Just a couple of years ago we were pulling all of the pillows and couch cushions onto the floor and playing king of the mountain. He's 23, I can't even imagine getting married in 3 years. fuck, it's so weird. I'm super stoked for him though because his fiance, Balla (yes, Balla) is awesome. just a little taste:
